A sumptuous Georgian cluster ring of English hallmark-confirmed 18ct Gold, ablaze with contrast and character. At its heart sits a rectangular faceted Garnet, encircled by a luminous halo of creamy Pearls and framed with glossy Black Enamel for a striking play of light and shade. Heavily carved floral and foliate shoulders add sculptural depth, celebrating the refined craftsmanship of c.1825.

The ornate goldwork, beaded borders and rich enamel detailing lend an elegant, period poise that feels both romantic and architectural. With its distinctive halo and beautifully modelled shoulders, this ring is a timeless statement of Georgian glamour. MEASUREMENTS: Ring tapers from 8mm wide at the front to 2.5mm wide at the back.
Rectangular Garnet measures 6.5mm long x 3mm wide.
Pearls measure 2mm in diameter.
WEIGHT: 3g.

MATERIALS: Tests as 18ct Gold, Garnet, Pearl, Black Enamel.

HALLMARKS: Leopard’s head without crown (London), dated 1825, worn/partially obscured.

PACKAGING: Your order will be gift-wrapped free of charge in a Lillicoco cardboard box made from recycled materials, tied with a ribbon.

Condition

VERY GOOD: The faceted Garnet shows light surface wear and tiny abrasions commensurate with age; Pearls are bright with good lustre and the Black Enamel remains crisp with minor rubs. The setting is secure and the carved shoulders are well defined; evidence of a previous resize to the band is present. Hallmarks are worn yet still allow the date to be verified; it is possible the central Garnet is a historical replacement.
