French 18ct Gold Topaz & Citrine "Oil & Vinegar" Diamond Drop Earrings
Golden Topaz and Citrine glow within the beautifully scalloped outlines of these French drop earrings. The oval Topaz tops lead to generous Citrine drops, each surrounded by Rose-Cut Diamonds in softly darkened Silver settings. One Topaz flashes a particularly fiery orange, giving this antique pair a wonderfully individual character.
Dating to around 1850, they retain their original antique gemstones, with foil behind both the Topaz and Citrine. Fine beaded edges trace the Diamond surrounds, while polished 18ct Gold closed backs offer a lovely contrast when the earrings turn. Their long, articulated silhouette is especially elegant worn with hair swept back, leaving those ornate drops in full view.

Diamonds measure 2mm in diameter approx 0.55ct
WEIGHT: 8.5g combined
MATERIALS: Tests as 18ct Gold, with Silver settings.
GEMSTONES: Foiled Topaz, Foiled Citrine and Rose-Cut Diamonds.
STAMPS: Partial, unidentified stamps on the lever-backs.
HALLMARKS: Since we have dated this piece as being made before 1950, a hallmark is not required in order for it to be sold in line with UK hallmarking legislation.
PACKAGING: Your order will be gift-wrapped free of charge in a Lillicoco cardboard box made from recycled materials, tied with a ribbon.
Condition
VERY GOOD: A beautiful pair of antique earrings, with their original gemstones and robust lever-back fittings in very good condition. One lower closed-back setting has a small ding that creates a recess at the back; this does not affect the beauty of the front. The gemstones vary naturally in colour, most noticeably in the Topaz tops, where one has a more fiery orange appearance. Overall, a lovely pair in very good condition.

Layaway Installment Plans
A layaway is an interest-free payment plan that enables you to reserve an item with an initial deposit, and then pay the balance over 60 days.
Layaway is very popular with Lillicoco customers, particularly when making a more considered purchase.
How It Works
In total, you will make three payments over three months:
Day 1: 33.33%
Day 30: 33.33%
Day 60: 33.33%
Your layaway purchase is reserved for you as soon as the initial payment has been taken.
Your order is shipped once the full balance has been paid.
All of our usual terms and conditions apply with a layaway purchase, although 15% of the invoice total is nonrefundable in case of cancellation or return, acting as an administration fee.
A layaway is not a loan, nor is it a form of credit. A credit check is not required to put an item on layaway, and missing a payment will not affect your credit score.
If you do not complete your layaway on schedule your reservation may be cancelled and your payments may be refunded, minus the administration fee.
