A once-in-a-lifetime Georgian foiled Garnet pansy necklace, crafted circa 1820 and preserved in astonishing condition. This is the kind of jewel collectors dream of, elegant, complete, richly coloured, and utterly evocative of the early 19th century.

Each Garnet is beautifully foil-backed, igniting with velvety crimson fire that glows even in the softest light, an unmistakable hallmark of Georgian era craftsmanship, set in solid 9ct Gold.

MEASUREMENTS: Necklace is 16" or 16.5cm long.
Garnets graduate from 2.5mm in diameter to approximately 10mm long x 8mm wide, weighing approx. 55.00ct.
WEIGHT: 31.5g.

MATERIALS: Tests as 9ct Gold, Foiled Garnets (55.00ct).

HALLMARKS: Since we have dated this piece as being made before 1950, a hallmark is not required in order for it to be sold in line with UK hallmarking legislation.

PACKAGING: Your order will be gift-wrapped free of charge in a Lillicoco cardboard box made from recycled materials, tied with a ribbon.
