Description
The Morpho wing's fine lines and shifting patches of colour create a wonderfully lively surface beneath the domed front.
A narrow decorative Silver border follows the triangle, with a warm 9ct Gold jump ring adding a small contrast above. The reverse is stamped ENGLAND STERLING, completing a characterful piece.

ERA: Art Deco (1920-1939).
MEASUREMENTS: Pendant is 29.5mm long including jump ring.
Pendant is 24.5mm wide.
WEIGHT: 9.6g.
MATERIALS: Tests as Sterling Silver, 9ct Gold jump ring, Morpho butterfly wing.
STAMPS: ENGLAND STERLING.
HALLMARKS: Since we have dated this piece as being made before 1950, a hallmark is not required in order for it to be sold in line with UK hallmarking legislation.
PACKAGING: Your order will be gift-wrapped free of charge in a Lillicoco cardboard box made from recycled materials, tied with a ribbon.
Condition
VERY GOOD: This pendant is in lovely condition, with a light patina to the Silver that complements the vivid blue of the butterfly wing. There is some wear to the butterfly wing in one area, where some of the blue has faded, commensurate with age, but the wing remains fully intact. There are a couple of small dings on the back. The jump ring is soldered shut for secure wear.

Layaway Installment Plans
A layaway is an interest-free payment plan that enables you to reserve an item with an initial deposit, and then pay the balance over 60 days.
Layaway is very popular with Lillicoco customers, particularly when making a more considered purchase.
How It Works
In total, you will make three payments over three months:
Day 1: 33.33%
Day 30: 33.33%
Day 60: 33.33%
Your layaway purchase is reserved for you as soon as the initial payment has been taken.
Your order is shipped once the full balance has been paid.
All of our usual terms and conditions apply with a layaway purchase, although 15% of the invoice total is nonrefundable in case of cancellation or return, acting as an administration fee.
A layaway is not a loan, nor is it a form of credit. A credit check is not required to put an item on layaway, and missing a payment will not affect your credit score.
If you do not complete your layaway on schedule your reservation may be cancelled and your payments may be refunded, minus the administration fee.
