Vintage 9ct Gold Opal Solitaire Ring, 1.20ct
A softly glowing oval Opal sits within a richly textured Gold surround in this Vintage solitaire ring, dated to 1972. The approximately 1.20ct cabochon shows delicate pink and orange flashes, framed by a fine rope edge and a broader, rope twist border.
Open shoulders add a small flourish on either side of the setting, connecting the decorative head to a smooth 9ct Gold band. The side view reveals the raised profile of the Opal and the layered Gold work beneath it. This is a solitaire with plenty of character in the setting as well as the stone.

Opal measures 10.5mm long x 8mm wide, weighing approx. 1.20ct.
Band measures 2mm wide at the back.

HALLMARKS: LAQ, 9, 375, London Leopard Head, date letter r for 1972.

Condition
EXCELLENT: The Opal is smooth with no chips or cracks, and a lovely play-of-colour. The rope edging and twisted rope surround retain clear definition, with darker patina in the recessed Gold work. Light surface wear is visible on the band, commensurate with age, and no signs of previous resizing.

Layaway Installment Plans
A layaway is an interest-free payment plan that enables you to reserve an item with an initial deposit, and then pay the balance over 60 days.
Layaway is very popular with Lillicoco customers, particularly when making a more considered purchase.
How It Works
In total, you will make three payments over three months:
Day 1: 33.33%
Day 30: 33.33%
Day 60: 33.33%
Your layaway purchase is reserved for you as soon as the initial payment has been taken.
Your order is shipped once the full balance has been paid.
All of our usual terms and conditions apply with a layaway purchase, although 15% of the invoice total is nonrefundable in case of cancellation or return, acting as an administration fee.
A layaway is not a loan, nor is it a form of credit. A credit check is not required to put an item on layaway, and missing a payment will not affect your credit score.
If you do not complete your layaway on schedule your reservation may be cancelled and your payments may be refunded, minus the administration fee.
